H.U.G was started out of a silent need to support families experiencing one of the hardest griefs to face, stillbirth and infant loss.
Losing a baby goes against everything we know about life. To lose a young baby seems so unnatural. This is a parent’s worst nightmare, but for some, it is their new reality. After losing our first baby, our ordered world spun out of control, we felt isolated and alone. We had nowhere to turn and no-one knew what to say or do. HUG will change all this.
We cannot take away grief and pain, but we can keep you company during the journey. A growing family is vulnerable at this painful time and we are here to help.
H.U.G. is the only stillbirth support of it’s kind in Israel. We aim to provide support to the grieving family as a whole including the mother, father, grandparents and friends and care providers. Stillbirth effects a large number of people.
